Border and Coast Lines
Linceus border and coast line solutions consist of long-range stabilized EO sensor packages, of daylight video and thermal imaging cameras integrated with user-defined countermeasures. They are mounted on high-velocity platforms moving on the Linceus patented monorail track system over extensive distances of tens of kilometers. The system uses search and track regional RF (radar) sensors and is designed for integration with aerial, naval and ground surveillance and interception vehicles.
The unique drive system based on Linceus’ proprietary contactless, induced magnetic drive mechanism enables electrical power management over large distances for long border and coast lines.
The Linceus system comprises an open architecture command & control software that enables full control and remote event management of an unlimited number of riders and payloads. It can also be integrated with higher-level command & control systems.
Implementing Linceus border and coast protection systems saves a lot of costs for manned patrols, associated vehicles and dedicated equipment as the system’s remote control and management of intrusion events, including operation of non-lethal active countermeasures, reduces the number of false alarms.
