The Linceus system for mine applications was developed in order to improve mine safety. For the Linceus monorail contactless magnetic drive technology, the rail is installed along critical mine paths. The remote control room can monitor and control the mine’s activities by means of transmitted live video via the rail communication system.
First-aid can be provided in case of an emergency through the safety packages aboard the rider, which are remotely dispatched to trapped miners and limited access zones. Linceus mine solutions have a low profile design which is adapted to limited space areas such as mines.
The system’s unique drive mechanism ensures relatively simple mounting and contains all power and communication lines within the rail itself. The system is designed for simple installation and can be removed and re-installed according to the mine requirements.
