Oil Rigs
Linceus presents an innovative approach to secure oil-rig operation by provision of a surrounding monorail system. It comprises a mobile rider equipped with a stabilized electro-optical system that enables monitoring of the surrounding maritime area and the sea bottom under the rig.
High-end optical sensors provide advanced alert and remote verification options for all naval vessels approaching the rig. Radar integration enables auto-line-of-sight alignment of the optical sensors in order to focus on an approaching vessel for early identification. The system is designed to be installed on the lower deck of the rig, which facilitates full surround and bottom surveillance from the rig control center.
