Underground Railways
The increasing volume of public transportation and the intensive use of the subway as the major “mass transportation” system together with safety and security concerns related to the operation of complex train networks creates the need to frequently monitor subway lines along the rails and especially in tunnels and stations.
Linceus subway systems provide the means to remotely control subway lines using the Linceus monorail system. It includes integrated electro-optical sensors, two-way audio channels and active measures such as fire extinguishing devices, which are installed on the riders as part of the payload and remotely activated in case of fire in tunnels and limited access areas.
